Kaprun This resort is a pleasant village with good intermediate level slopes for the skiers in the group with a few challenges for any experts. It has access to a local glacier - guaranteeing skiing through your stay. However you should not be worried about snow fall, this resort boasts a good covering and is a short bus ride away from the neighbouring slopes of Zell am See. The village is also fairly lively so activities off the slopes will not be in short supply for any non-skiers in the group. More Info

Klosters
Klosters is probably best known in the UK for the Royal connection – it is Prince Charles’ favourite ski resort, and the place this photos with William and Harry are taken.
Even the main cable car out of the village is named after the royals! But don’t be put off by this – Klosters is a really agreeable village, and whilst it may not have a lot of raving après ski (entertaining is pretty much chalet based) it does have direct access to the main Davos / Klosters Parsenn area, and via the train (its about a 30 minute run up the hill to Davos) to the other Davos slopes.

It also has its own Madrisa area, which although mainly a beginners / early intermediate area does have a black back to Klosters. All the runs from both Madrisa and Parsenn to Klosters are some of the best ways of finishing your day in the Alps!

Kranjska Gora Kranjska Gora is Slovenia's top resort - and its an attractive one. It hosts around 40km of piste which best suits intermediates, and includes the World Cup Slalom Run (which does present more of a challenge!) Frustrations centre around the slow lifts and adequate rather than outstanding food, but it meets the needs of the budget conscious skier. More Info

Kronplatz / Plan De Coronas Kronplatz (or Plan de Coronas in Italian) has probably the best lift system in Europe serving visitors who mostly stay in the nearby towns of Brunico (Bruneck) or San Vigilio di Marebbe. It is in the Dolomites, although not connected into the main Sella Ronda circuit, although that can be reached by public transport. Within its own area there are 103km of pistes, and with the lift system as it is a lot of miles can be racked up over a short period. More Info

Kuhtai
Kuhtai is a group of hotels along a pass some 2020m above sea level. Its less than 20 miles from Innsbruck Airport making it a great short break destination.
It is ideal for those looking for ski in ski out, short transfers and a snow sure resort, and although the skiing in Kuhtai is somewhat limited with only 44km there are other local resorts within reach for 'away days'.

Kuhtai is Austria's highest ski resort and its perfectly possible to ski there from early December right through until May.
