Compare Ski and Snowboard Hire for Cervinia >

Cervinia is situated below the Matterhorn, and has a long season given its high altitude and nearby glacier. It also gives access to the slopes of Zermatt, although exploring far into that resort can be difficult given its geography, and the constant threat of the lifts over the top being closed forcing an expensive overnight stay in Switzerland. Cervinia has great cruising, its on the sunny side of the Alps, and although the resort cannot be termed as pretty it does suit budget conscious skiers and boarders who like travelling high miles - from the top of the resort to the foot at Valtourniche is a drop of almost 2000m and a distance of around 13km!
